True story: I started playing Factorio last summer for about a month. Was getting really into it. I started to feel sicker than I ever have in my life, couldn’t eat, couldn’t even drink water. The doctors were starting to say some really scary shit, and doing a lot of tests. In the end, it turns out my kidneys were overstressed and some medicine and chugging water for a week got me back up and running. But poor Factorio is now linked in my mind with feeling like Voldemort up there and I can’t bring myself to play anymore.
Once I finished all the researching I became less addicted, now I play only 8hrs/day
OP should go apply at FicSit and try out Satisfactory 🙂
Soooo…. have you downloaded the space exploration mod? I got a spaceship after about a full week of in game time, or around 168 hours. Still going strong.
I never finished the tutorial levels, because I realized I was working
I can’t play games like that, my brain just assimilates to basic processing power and take over, before I know it I’ve built something the size of Russia and it’s been 6 weeks
