Honestly my mind is still kinda blown that this was shot in a volume set. Leaves me wondering how much more of this show also was, because imo you can’t tell at all. Next to the Batman, this has to be the best usage of the tech so far.
I really do think Volume is great, but Star Wars so far just hasn’t really been taking it to its full potential like this scene did.
I guess the solution to volume issues is to build a really damn big volume.
Looks great but you can definitely tell when watching that there are less on-location scenes with real sets, buildings, backgrounds etc compared to GOT.
