That is not funny at all, a hard working man did not get paid, a man with serious psychological problems , and one confused cat.
As someone who dispatches cabs (not for that country in particular though)… That person was responsible for anything they brought into the taxi. The driver probably allowed him to get his animal out Only because they didn’t want to deal with the pet.
If it had been his cell phone, or other non-living objects, he probably would’ve had to go to the taxi main office for that company in order to retrieve his property. They likely would’ve also charged him the cab fare for the run-out in order to be given back the items as well.
