Kind of hate xmas songs but I’ll make an exception for this one. š
It’s a good song, but the sequence of notes in “I don’t wanna be good for Christmas” are exactly the same as the “I just want you for my own” line of the Mariah Carey song. It’s really hard for me not to hear that when listening to this.
That is every bit as good as all the songs they released every Christmas in the UK during the 70sand 80s and people would buys them by the truck load. They would play on the radio all the time through the season. I donāt know if they still do that, I donāt Iāve there now.
