I took time off after finishing AC Valhalla and I forgot it all. Hard to get back in for the DLCs.
This is on the same level as a Penny-arcade from 20 years ago.
RPGs are the worst for this. Forget the whole story, characters, battle system, and side quests
Funny thing i did this for dying light. Took like 5 second to remember it even though I had not played in around 3 months. It just really depends on the game.
I had this problem with Ori after not playing it for like 3 days
Every time I play a bit of Breath of the Wild to entertain my kid, and want to put my weapons away, I end up pressing the “whistle for your horse” button, which matches the “put away the tool you’re holding” button in Animal Crossing.
