I have no idea what happened there and can’t understand what the announcers are saying but everyone seems happy with things so that’s good
The way the announcer says her name makes me giggle

I need more women’s cricket in my life.
clearly i know less about cricket than i thought i did
Holy fuck that was smooth. Didn’t even snap back it was just smooth all the way.
Here’s a quick guide to cricket : https://youtu.be/tYrue4oXCbo
What a fucking bowl! For the uninitiated hitting the top of the middle stump is super impressive, where she landed it made it cut in (bounce on an angle) beautifully!
That didn’t seem like swing. That hit a crack or some other object as it only moved coming off the pitch.
I spent two weeks in Saint Lucia where nothing but cricket played on any of the channels. On day one my husband and I vowed to learn the sport. After hours and hours of watching – I still have no idea what any of it means.
For people saying it hit a crack, that was my first reaction and I came to ask. But I believe it was genuine swing that occurred just before the bounce:

“What a ball! That has come back from miles outside the stump!”
Proceeds to show a different angle of the pitch, where lateral ball movement can’t be judged
What a nut
It has 100% come off a crack.
You’re not swinging a white ball, in the first over as well anywhere near that much.
I think the batters reaction too shows how unexpectedly it cut in off the deck.
Was that a googly?

ITT and all over the Internet. People that absolutely refuse to give her any credit at all for an amazing delivery. All either armchair world class bowlers or are somehow threatened when a woman shows true skill and artistry on the pitch, or a blend of both.
“iT hIT A CrACk!!!!!111!!!111”
Grow up. Acknowledge skill.
Ball of the century? (Pandey edition)
I have never seen a ball move that far from a seamer. Spinners don’t usually get balls to move that far
Holy crap I know nothing about cricket but that ball if you just look at the first :02 it’s like a deep gaming curveball in baseball except thrown off the ground and snipes the stick things wow no clue what happened but nice throw
That was an impressive throw completely handcuffing the batter
I finally understand why batter before wicket is a thing.
So yeah, batter reaches for outside ball… Surprise! Coming in at your hands! And knocks off the bails. (Learned that word from Douglas Adams)
So I know cricket enough to recognize that this is a sick fucking play. The spin, pace, insane bounce, and precision are outstanding.
But I don’t know cricket enough to know if it’s ridiculous to say it’s the greatest in history. How exaggerated is that?
What the fuck just happened lol
Gotta know what a crumpet is to know how to play cricket
Nice gary
