Lol, I’ve had that happen with paint before! I went to spray a clear plastic radio control truck body and was going to lay down some Pearl White (which is translucent) on the inside before backing it with either regular or metallic black (can’t remember for sure, was almost 15 years ago now) to get a Dark Grey Pearl look and discovered the hard way that I only had enough to cover about a third of the surface in the Pearl White. When a friend and then coworker saw it a few days later, he made a similar reference on how that looked😳🤦🏻😅

I’ve dipped thousands of Valentine’s strawberries (thanks, retail). White chocolate can be tricky. If you overheat it, it gets translucent and runny. Try heating it for less time (shorter intervals in the microwave, stirring in between, until it’s just barely melted and smooth all the way through); it will be more opaque. Happy dipping!
