Coolest photo ever.
Total loss oil system and no valve covers meant you had to wear tall boots to not get burnt, plus the tracks got oily/greasy pretty quick. They didn’t have brakes either. That’s what killed this sport, bikes skidding off the track at full speed, flying up into the crowd, literally killing spectators. Great photo.
