My dog tries this if I ever leave him with my mum. She’ll feed him and he will sit by his bowl till she second guesses if she gave him enough. Crafty little bugger.
Our Penny does the same stuff. She is such a good liar. On numerous occasions, she has finagled a second breakfast.

We use a little sliding calendar that we use to keep track. Easy to find on Amazon if you search for ”dog feeding chart”
After I had covid, I had some serious brain fog and short term memory issues for a few months. I couldn’t remember if I had fed my dog. I ended up double feeding her. After a week I realized what had happened. I ended up setting an alarm on my phone for her food. That brain fog is no joke.
Maybe set an alarm for food time.
It’s all fun and games until he learns to remove the sticky note.
Seems like a bad plan… he’s just going to dispose of the note.
