I’ve recommended these guys to so many people over the years, and it’s great to see them posted here. First saw them way back in maybe 2003-4 opening for System of a Down at The Boathouse in Norfolk. They were great, and Serj from SOAD was too out of it to perform intelligibly, so I went to DFD’s merch table to see what they had and tell them they were great, and ended up just casually bullshitting with them through most of SOAD’s set. I’ve never had an opener that I saw impress me more, onstage and off.
This was the first song I ever heard from these guys, and it developed a love within me that almost led me to smashing my best friend with a brick for his ticket to their last show.
It would have also meant quitting my job, so I pumped the brakes.
I love these guys! I got to see them about 20 years ago with MSI and Deadsy. They opened and totally stole the show; pretty much played the entirety of Anarchists of Good Taste.

these guys are so nice! i went to school with a couple members, and i saw them perform years later. they are down to earth & kind to their fans.
The music is cool, but I can’t stand the vocalist.
Everybodys favorite Mr. Bungle clone
Who let the theatre kids get into metal?
Love DFD! Saw them a few times in my teens.
9 to 5 at the morgue is a banger

DFD were some cool dudes! Got to meet them in Baltimore.
They did a show with The Alter Boys. Also awesome dudes.
I was hesitant at first but it’s so fucking good. Turn the bass up in this mix baby, I’m only critiquing because I fucking care and this is sick.
Holy shit!! My old band used to play with these guys just shy of twenty years ago, (I think we’re on a compilation CD together…..).
Super nice dudes. Always a good time. It’s good to see they’re still playing and releasing new music.
EDIT – [found it](https://www.discogs.com/release/1730392-Various-Gimmie-The-Medicine-Vol-2)

Fucking love this band.
Holy shit is this new music? These guys got me into metal like 12 years ago. Adultery is my go to pick when people ask me my favorite complete album.

Nice! I love these guys, been a fan since 2005.
Didn’t expect a DFD post in the wild!
I have tons of their stuff still in my rotation after seeing them live one time around 02-03 I think.
Not bad. Sounds a lot like a Mike Patton project, just not quite as good.
Any Polkadot Cadaver fans in the crowd?

don’t fall asleep or we’ll mutilate your genitals
Did they sample Muse’s New Born in the intro? It’s the exact same thing, just truncated!
Holy shit… they’re still around?
They will release a new album called “Cult Classic” on March 12th, 2022! Will be available for pre-order on January 22nd.
This is what people who hate metal probably think metal sounds like.
