I read that he hit 21 MPH on that run
Henry is 6’3 240 lbs
Imagine being tasked with stopping that.
Through the first six games of the season, he’s got 162 rushing attempts for 783 yards, is averaging 4.8 yards per rush and has 10 rushing touchdowns. He leads the league in rushing attempts, yards and touchdowns. He’s also on pace to have by far his best receiving numbers of the season.
He’s on pace for 2,218 rushing yards (the NFL record is 2,105) and 28 rushing touchdowns, as well as nearly 400 receiving yards. His workload will likely lessen down the stretch, but still, I think he has as good a case for MVP as anyone in the league right now. With all the injuries the Titans have had, as well as their defense being disappointing for the most part, he’s been carrying them through the first third of the season.
His acceleration at that fucking size will never make sense to me
That guy literally hit the turbo boost and sped off
Looks like a highlight from a high school game.
That dude fast
This man just straight ran forward. No show boating, no extraness, just ran with the determination of a machine built for one task.
Jesus.
The bounce actually got this for him. Micah Hyde slowed up after the bump not realizing that DH was only momentarily stopped and would be full speed a second later
I think the word “impressive” is a tad superfluous in a sentence with “76 yd touchdown”
mf came straight out of Madden custom character creation
My brain gets confused watching him run. He both looks like he’s going slow and incredibly fast at the same time.
Holding on number eleven.
If Sasquatch grew up playing football.
That boy can scoot!!
Dude is f en huge
Dude this big shouldn’t be this fast. Cheat code
They should not let that varsity kid play against the pee wee kids.
It is unfair that he is THAT big and THAT fast
He just has a special set of physical gifts. I’ve been watching football a long time, and I’ve never seen his combination of power, speed, and acceleration.
Hold by Titans #11
I mean it’s easy when #1 holds the only person that could’ve made the tackle.
I’m not saying this changes how impressive the play is and how crazy fast Henry is for a juggernaut, but there’s a pretty blatant hold by Julio Jones (2) and two others by Westbrook Ikhine (15) and AJ (11)
Holding though
Bama fan here. Derrick is my favorite player in program history. A total and complete freak of nature. Never seen anyone like him.
How’d they miss that hold by AJ Brown though?
An also equally impressive 4 (at least) holding calls not made.
Holding on #11
Nevermind the 2 holds that weren’t called at the line… Not taking away from King Henry, the man is a beast, but this should’ve been called back
27 Tre White was held and then blocked in the back, both by the same player.
lol you can literally see Tre White get yanked backwards
Only 2-3 holds too!
There was an absolute hold by Julio Jones lol
Refs missed holding call against #27 here. Buffalo lost by 3pts.
“#11, blocking in the back, 10 yard penalty”
3 holds I can clearly see, no call, Bills fan btw
Holding at 3 seconds on Johnson. And 5 seconds on White.
Missed both a downfield hold and clip on a guy who easily could have tripped him up.
Buffalo seems to have bad luck in Tennessee.
Awful lot of holding going on in that play by the Titans..
I am a Titans fan, but there were 2 major holdings on that run that should have been called. Dude is a straight up beast though!
To everyone complaining, it’s only holding if it’s called.
