Feldman’s hair is on point
So weird seeing Wil not in something Star Trek
River 💔
I remember them looking so old when I first saw this picture, they are just kids!
Looks like they were already filming lost boys
Anybody ever read the book? Worth it? Or movie better?
I hated kiefer sutherland in this movie, that’s one of the things I love about him.
This movie is perfection
River just has that cool look. Even his clothes are perfect
*Hwill Hweaton
Suck my fat one, you dime store hood!
Kiefer just farted.
SUCH a great movie!
I watched Stand By Me a lot as a kid growing up.
It’s a sobering, and dour look at both friendship, childhood, and the reality of loss. Some of the elements are outlandish, the barforama, a bully willing to kill kids in his town, but it’s a movie I think should be considered essential viewing as you grow up. The way they frame death in the film, the dead body juxtaposed against Gordy’s older brother, it’s really handled maturely if there’s kids watching.
Quite possibly one of the best movies of all time.
“Hey Jerry O’Connell, take our picture!”
Where’s Verno?
I didn’t know Wesley Crusher met Agent Jack Bauer.
Chopper, sick balls.
I wonder what river was thinking
In this photo, Kiefer already had the look down for his next roll in the 1987 movie “The Lost Boys”!
When I look back I realize that I never had friends like the ones I had when I was 12. Christ, does anyone?
I met Kiefer last week in one of my local bars. Absolutely sound. Had time for a chat with anyone that wanted to speak with him.
You guys wanna go see a dead body?
Gonna tell my kids this was Skrillex
Sutherland was an excellent Ace Merrill. I wish they’d done all the castle rock stories as movies with him getting older.
Great fucking movie
Brought to you by underaged cocaine use.
Wil Wheaton’s life was saved by being a huge dork.
Weren’t the kids terrified of Kiefer on set? Thought I read that he basically acted like Ace the entire time they filmed.
Can someone summon Wil (if he’s not sick of nostalgia threads)
Sic’em, boy!” But what I heard was, “Chopper! Sic balls!”
I couldn’t watch anything with KS in it for years after this movie, because I hated Ace that much. So I guess good on him for playing such a perfect villain.
I had to look up the ages.
– WW is 50
– CF is 51
– KS is 56
– RF was born 1970 and would be 53, if still alive. He died in 1993 at 23. So sad.
Edit: fixed formatting
Edit2: Stand By Me premiered in 1986
I’m still not over losing River
I love this movie. It’s perfect.
Awesome movie. I have never read the Steven King book “The Body” this was adapted from but nonetheless, I enjoy this every time I watch it
Damn, he still looks like a vampire!
Anne Wheaton, Wil’s wife, is actually a family friend
She told us a couple behind the scenes facts about this movie, for example Wil went out with his friends to see the film, but he was turned away at the theater because he wasn’t old enough to see it at the time, even though HE WAS LITERALLY IN THE MOVIE, AS ONE OF THE MAIN CHARACTERS
He was understandably pissed
And Corey Feldman hasn’t changed his wardrobe since.
Damn Feld-dawg lookin sharp. Poor kid there’s a lot of sadness between bc those eyes
Can’t help but think of what these kids had to endure to be included in this picture, RIP River
“Although I hadn’t seen him in ten years, I know I’ll miss him forever”
Wil Wheaton and Corey Feldman had pretty fucked up childhoods. It’s wasn’t all happy times being movie stars.
Whill wheaton
Fell in love with Kiefer in that movie and it started an attraction to all of the toxic bad boys.
Goddamn I was not ready for this today. I’ve been thinking a lot about River today. River, he is so deeply missed. He was a wonderful person, actor and even singer. May he rest in peace. Unbelievable how this marks the 30th anniversary of his death.
I never had any friends later on like the ones I had when I was twelve. Jesus, does anyone?
