That chargla demo was… rife with awkward innuendo. But it does raise the point that I hadn’t considered how much force is needed to plug it in before. Did the snake version Telsa demoed have a smaller plug (and less friction), or did it have the advantage of being floor mounted? It seems the chargla wheels are more spike-like to keep grip on the floor. Edit: Those are probably brakes to keep the wheels from moving during insertion.
For reference, what’s the typical load that a truck tailgate can handle? Shame it looks so awkward to close though. With it open she’ll probably get enough room for 8″ plywood though without needing the roof rack.

I was so excited to see more about Truckla and fixing it and getting the bed all squared away and such!.. and none of that made the video. Instead it’s all about early stages of chargla, which I couldn’t care less about. Ah well, they can’t all appeal to everyone! Video title could be more accurate though, but that’s all of youtube right now..
