I thought the trailer was just using an incidental soundtrack until I heard the familiar guitar riff, then I realized it’s a rendition of Nine Inch Nail’s “The Day the World Went Away.” Definitely stoked for the new season!

    Season 1 was perfection

Season 2 had great ideas with some questionable execution

Season 3 was straight up just bad.

I don’t have high hopes for Season 4 but hopefully I’m surprised

After being disappointed in S3 in part because WW basically became any other sci fi show set in a near future city, I’m excited to see them go back to the park (at least for some of S4 apparently). WW is like Crichton’s other opus, Jurassic Park, once you leave the park you lose much of the magic.

Damnit….I was really ready to just toss aside this serious after the bizarre mess of Season 3. But this trailer just had to have Ramin Djawadi do a dope piano cover of Nine Inch Nails’ “The Day the Whole World Went Away”. Also the story looks pretty interesting, no clue what direction they are exactly going…seems like its back to some of the weird existential robot stuff of S1? Except on a larger scale? Hope so!

I also hope they fix up the action choreography….fight scenes and shootouts were always laughably bad, even in the earlier seasons.

My favorite season of all time is Westworld’s first season, alongisde Netflix’s Dark, but i still loved the second season.

The first four episodes of the third season were also really good, before the pacing turned into a hungry cheetah which lead to a lot of unnecessary stupid shit.

The action scenes of this show have always been kind of bad, but the story and its ideas and themes have always sticked with me, so i can’t wait.

The soundtrack sounds amazing as always.

I am cautiously optimistic. I was certainly questioning the utility of season 3 because it didn’t look like anything to me, but I hope they can turn it around. The parks are the highlight of the series, I’m glad that’s back.

Really really wanted this show to be epic, but from season 2 onwards just wasn’t working for me. Even season 1 wasn’t what I expected. I was so hyped before the first season cause the premise is very interesting, but alas, didn’t live up to my expectations.

Interesting to see the Host haven or however it was called from the end of S2 is back in this. Guess we may see some old faces return other than just Marsden.

It’s crazy how quickly Westworld went from being the next hit show, to something I barely see any chatter about. Season 1 was great and everyone was talking about it, but then we had to wait 2 years for the next season, which killed a lot of the shows momentum and hype. The writing also wasn’t that great, and it continued to decline with season 3. This show could have been considered one of the all time greats, if the writers didn’t have their heads up their own asses so often.

This show has been wildly inconsistent. Season 1 is some of the best sci-fi I’ve ever watched. Season 2 was incredibly dense and confusing on purpose. Season 3 was more straight forward kind of, but less interesting at the same time. So while I will certainly watch season 4, I don’t really know how to manage my expectations for it.

If you had told me after season 1 that there would be a trailer for a new season out and I’d not even be interested in watching it, I’d have called you crazy. But here we are.

hope it recaptures the s1 level quality and consistency.

Seriously tho Westworld trailers have always been top notch props to that I suppose

Westworld is probably my favorite show still airing so I am very excited for this. I find that generally people that criticize it are comparing it to its own best moments which just speaks to how great it truly is. Season 3 as a standalone show would have been considered awesome sci-fi….. it is only when compared to Season 1 that it seems disappointing. In the conversation as one of the greatest shows of all time.

I watched the first two seasons of this, hoping upon hope they would meld some coherency into it. But it never happened. And this trailer is just more of the same mystery inside a mystery wrapped up in an enigma bullshit. I won’t waste my time.

I’m stoked for this. Excited to see this new season. It looks great. Hate Evan Rachel Wood, but love everyone else. Can’t wait.
