Seems like it would have been pretty easy to almost let it slide out of her hand instead of flipping it end over like that…

  • Windyandbreezy

I’m shocked they delivered it at all. Normally if it can’t fit in your mailbox, they take it back to the post office for you to pick up unless you have a designated usps large package lock box

  • StrengthDazzling8922

You think it was handling like a delicate flower on it’s travels through postal system. The drop off is tame compared to the rough handling packages receive as it progresses along from point to point. That goes for ALL UPS,FEDEX…..

  • inkseep1

Meanwhile at UPS the company reps have told me that drivers are allowed to kick packages off the truck at deck height and there is no way to keep them from doing it.

  • DragonLBanshee

As someone who works in a ups building this isn’t just usps lol and I can guarantee that package was most definitely chucked and thrown at least 100 more times before it was thrown in that car

  • postie242

As a retired letter carrier I can confirm that this motto is decades old, especially for parcels from the FR agile company.

  • KyleManUSMC

Yeah as mentioned by us that worked for package handling companies…. this is nothing compared to how the packages are handled at the warehouses.

Better to pick out that laptop at the store then get it shipped to you.

  • Obvious-Accountant35

Dude, it dropped less than half a foot, there is nothing even wrong with what she did.

Stop crying about her walking on your grass and maybe try touching it, damn.

  • AmazingConsequence38

Lmao if only people knew how many times its tossed and thrown around throughout the shipping process 😅

  • RevolutionReal6497

That’s a valid placement, it landed soft and slid just a bit. Probably not a dense item since the carrier was walking it up in one hand. It saw way way worse treatment on the way to the local po for sure

  • IrisSmartAss

Had something in the other hand, so had to do it that way. But why were they carrying something else when they were going straight to and from truck to house and back?

  • hrdonforu

USPS are some lazy fucks…. At my location they cant even walk 4 feet from truck to mailbox and say mail is undeliverable?????

  • catscannotcompete

This is fine. This delivery person is doing nothing wrong. I worked in a shipping warehouse for a few years, and on the very first day everybody learned “if it’s not ready to be thrown down the stairs, it’s not ready to ship.”

SMH, some people imagine their boxes are shipped inside a damn featherbed, rather than crammed into half a dozen different metal cargo boxes between here and there. A gentle toss onto a porch is about 1/1000th of what it saw before it got to your house.

  • collapse1122

that throw ain’t going to be able to do more damage than has already been done inside the warehouse lol. already been thrown kicked probably punched a few times by loaders.

  • radiodmr

Every time I see a post like this it’s the same thing, a bunch of people whining about how their packages are abused by the develish delivery person, and a few people who actually know how the sausage is made laughing at them.
You know how servers say everyone should have to work in service for 3 months? I say everyone should have to work 3 months as a delivery driver and/or package handler. A lot of people would need an ambulance before finishing a week at either of those jobs.

  • skoomski

Get real dude that shit is launched around multiple times form the factory to first to truck then the boat to another truck to the warehouse to yet a another truck to USPS to the delivery vehicle to your front door. This was probably the gentlest part of the journey.

  • JBYTuna

I got a package the other day, that was a box of liquid fertilizer, and they broke the bottle inside a padded box. It was then double bagged, and dropped on my porch with a “Sorry” note.

  • DifferentNewt5410

Got a package with stuff for my CPAP in the mail the other day. The box had “Fragile Medical Supplies” printed on every side. They crushed it down to fit in my mailbox. Luckily, the contents weren’t as fragile as advertised, but still, WTF!

  • DaVoiceOfTreason

Amazon recently started adding missing packages to the customer satisfaction part of the driver scorecard meaning you can get written up for other people porch pirating the packages you deliver. If you are going to order from Amazon please make sure you have a secure place to put packages and leave directions in the delivery notes including if it is ok to knock or ring the doorbell.

  • Chemicalwaves

i never understand why??? like it literally takes two more seconds to just put it somewhere instead of yeeting it like that.

  • thelastdon613

I love how ppl think their packages get handled like eggs everywhere except their front porch. That package was tossed like that at least 10 times.
