I’ve never found him funny but I do like his perspective and commentary.
7 years late.
Maybe they can try hiring a comedian to host it next.
He’s just not funny.
Jordan Klepper plz
I’m sorry but this guy was never funny, I remember when Jon Stewart kept setting him up before he left the show and no where in his monologue, presentation did he had the wits.
never watched a complete episode. dude’s just not that funny
This is not available in Canada. Can someone please create a mirror?
What do you mean? He just got started….I mean he just got started right……I mean it has not been 7 years right??????? Oh Fuck.
Still waiting to laugh at something he says
So if Ken Jennings isn’t the new host this time we riot right?
Nice. Never thought he was funny.
Way to go Trevor! I’m one of the old heads that loved Stewart and didn’t tune in as much when he left. But Trevor definitely kept that show going.
And just wow… From what he said it sounds like he’s going to go travel the world and do stand up again. As someone who now has a bank account that he absolutely does not have to worry about….. Hell yeah man. That sounds fun as hell. Go get it.
I vote for Roy wood jr
It isn’t that he wasn’t good, he just wasn’t as good.
Just about the toughest act to follow.
I don’t compare him to John Stewart, he was a one of one with a style custom built which the show exist around. He did a good job but John Stewart was a 1:1
Of all of the late night hosts he was definitely one of them.
Good guy. Wish him luck
Trever never let go of his immigrant perspective and made the daily show “look at you stupid Americans” vs Jon’s “look at us stupid Americans”
I hope the next host gets back to that.
We’ll never forget you, Travis!
I don’t think I’ve seen much of his Daily Show bits (outsode of the Tomi Lahren interview), but I got the audiobook for Born A Crime and it was really a great look into his upbringing.
Think that’s also why I rooted for him in that role as Daily Show host because Jon Stewart left absolutely massive shoes to fill.
Jon Stewart currently has a show that nobody watches because it’s on Apple TV. Bring him back
Klepper+Wood
After Jon left I really stopped keeping up with TV beyond sports. If there was anything good I’d eventually see a clip of it here or on YouTube I figured. Jon was impossible to replace. Trevor was fine, but Jon was on a Carlin-esque level that few people could ever match. The Klepper bits where he went to Trump rallies were really the only clips I watched. The younger generation doesn’t really watch TV shows on a scheduled slot any more so I don’t think the daily show could ever get back to what it was no matter the next host.
His final bit on bullshit was a fantastic send off at least.
I like how grateful he is
No hate but he is so unfunny I can’t believe he got the job.
Remember when he made fun of 34 striking mine workers who were killed in the Marikana massacre, then had the clip yanked off youtube by using copyright claims? Yeah, it’s not that he isn’t funny. He’s kind of a dick.

Oh man. I watched Jon Stewart every single day. I watched the first 4 eps of Trevor Noah with high hopes. Laughed maybe once. Gave up. Came back 6 months later, watched another couple eps. Gave up. Came back a year later. Still not good. Watched a few clips online. Not funny. Gave up for good.
Nothing against him. He seems to be a genuine good guy….but…he’s just not funny or interesting to listen to, to me.
Most of his show was “lol look what Trump did now”. Must’ve run out of content
Trevor always gave me vibes of being a political snob. Like, you’re stupid if you don’t think like me; all while not being funny. Jon Stewart criticized people like me, but I found it funny as all heck. It was comedy that made you think.
Oh no! Who will not be funny now?
I wonder if the show will go back to being funny again?
Leaving so he can pursue his dream of a career in comedy.
Michael Che maybe? he did announce he was going to leave the Weekend update desk on SNL, and he was never in many sketches
Replace him with Cody Johnston from Some More News
I’ll be nice and just say.
I have maybe watched 5 episodes since Jon left.
TN isn’t funny to me
Trevor Noah without a doubt was one of the Daily Show hosts that there ever were.
He is one of most unfunny people on television. Was handed a gift wrapped show and the greatest political content in history and he still couldn’t make it entertaining.
Trevor was good in his own way. He engaged with the fans, balanced serious issues with comedy, and was great with guest. I feel people were looking for too much of the previous show to appreciate how it is now.. or was, I guess.
He never forgets where he came from or the individuals he met along the road, not even the people and support workers who we don’t often see. Classy to the end.
