My house as a kid had carpet in both kitchen and bathroom.
Hey baby, “I hope the carpet in the kitchen matches the carpet in the bathroom.” Nope…… Still creepy and slimy.
I knew a carpet layer when i was younger who had every room in the house, including kitchen, dining room and bathrooms carpeted. On a cool note, he had created a collage of carpet scraps covering the walls in the grandkids playroom. As a kid i thought it was the greatest thing ever.

I’m honestly impressed at how clean the carpet in the kitchen looks.
I used to be a carpet cleaner too, lol i instantly recognized those hoses. Ive seen carpet in bathrooms, kitchens, and outside on a patio. Some people just lack common sense.
My first appt had plush WHITE carpet in the bathroom and kitchen. First month I lived there I dropped a pot of marinara sauce in kitchen. Thankfully when we moved the manager told us our unit was one of the last to get remodeled and we wouldn’t be responsible for anything related to carpet.
I grew up thinking carpeted bathrooms and kitchens were totally normal 😂
Bathroom carpet is 10000x worse.
Frankly, if I had to chose one or the other, I’d take food particles on the kitchen carpet over feces particles on the bathroom carpet.
I mean, which is grosser, do you think? Dropping a pot of spaghetti sauce on beige carpet or dealing with an overflowing, clogged toilet on beige carpet? 🤮
