That was amazing.
awesome! thanks for sharing
Props to the Late Show’s drummer who nails all of Dave Krusen’s drum runs.
Why did they edit his voice so high? Lmao sounds like a completely different person
Ah shit now I gotta listen to the Unplugged version and get put through the ringer of feels.
Letterman’s producer, Sheila Rogers, [tells the story too](https://youtu.be/XtahvCzgZzs?t=559).
Ah, the 90s, where everything was totally nonsensical and just random, and you never knew what was gonna happen next. Dave fit the 90s perfectly even if the show started in the 70s.
Pearl Jam was so huge by then that they were turning into the caricatures they later became but still took themselves too seriously to notice.
Guy obsesses about ex and writes song about her, instead of keeping it private, he shares it with his band mates, performs it live, publishes it and then acts like a psycho when it becomes popular?
That woman needed to get a restraining order against him, and he needed serious therapy.
Wow, thanks for the share, that was a ride 🙂
They became really good friends.
Creedo?
The bros in the row by the door that keep grabbing at them, what a bunch of weirdos. You can even see Eddie point the mic at the one dude after he basically forced him into a hug like “Wow, well this is why I don’t do this shit.”.
I must have terrible taste in music, Black isn’t the only example of a song that I love that the artist who made it hates. hah
Dave’s a legit PJ fan and friend. He inducted them into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame:
This is a snapshot of when a talk show was this big that this would happen. If you weren’t around during Letterman’s run its hard to understand the impact his show had and in a way just how groundbreaking it was.
Well that was delightful. Thanks.
Man! These are my late show glory days! I’m old.
Plaid shirt got way too handsy
The best part is Veder just being like I need to watch the show (stoned) and it’s just freaking me out that Dave keeps talking to me. The TV is talking to me.
Woh, the house band does a pretty good cover; kinda heavy, kinda jazzy.
I watched this when it happened. Eddddiiiiieee!!
Dave seemed drunk in a few of the clips ?
The Coriky album in Eddie’s studio is worth listening to if you haven’t heard it.
What is the bit Letterman is doing about ‘Wahoo not wah’ referencing? I was just a kid in the 90’s and can’t find whatever song he is referring to.
I didn’t realize he looks like Bradley Cooper
