Great song. Better movie. Best soundtrack.
One of my all time favorite soundtracks. It and the movie were my gateway to punk.
I stumbled across this (again) on one of my streaming channels this weekend… and yes, re-watched the whole thing.
I was just on a record with Tito somewhat recently! What a cool dude 😎
Plate of shrimp.
Pernicious lies
This soundtrack was the…soundtrack to my neighborhood lawn mowing gigs as a teen. On cassette of course. Out of Step- Minor Threat was in regular rotation too.
That’s cray. I was just looking for this song last night. Couldn’t find it because I thought it was Los lobos
Just realized that the teen titans theme used a tune inspired by this!
¡Eh papa! ¡Es un gringo en la calle con su coche!
I’ve got this album on vinyl, one of my favourite movies!
Circle jerks!! Love that scene.
Reel Ten is the true burner on that soundtrack. I never got into the Cruzados – but the Plugz were one of the LA Latino Punk pioneers. Their cover of La Bamba is amazing.
One of my favorite albums. Not a bad song on it!
One of the best movie sound tracks of my youth!
Time to dig the tape player and tapes out for a trip down memory lane.
I don’t buy much music on iTunes anymore, I just use Apple Music most of the time, but for this soundtrack, I made an exception
Pablo Picasso was an asshole
That whole repo man album slaps… it was one my first forays into punk as a young lad.
You know, there is a lot of similarity between surf and spy music, but I really think this song is the point where they converge most.
Cosmic unconscientious… Imagine if you were to say shrimp, or plate of shrimp.
This movie is one of my all time favorites. Love the soundtrack and just about everything else about it
One of my favorite movies as a teen – and definitely influenced my decision to move to Los Angeles
Good flick as a kid and holds up well as an adult.
Let’s go get sushi and not pay
One song I’ve struggled to find is the surf guitar “born to be wild” riff from this film. Anyone have a an idea? I think it plays when some motorcycles drive over a bridge.
Let’s go get sushi and not pay.
Goddamn Dipshit Rodriguez Gypsy Dildo Punks
Gonna have o watch this tonight. Thank you Alex Cox for Moviedrome in the 1980s and included his own movie…kick ass. Blow my young child mind.
The Plugz backed Bob Dylan on Letterman in 1984. It was a great performance. Daniel Romano reimagined Dylan’s album of that year, Infidels, as if the Plugz were his backing band. Worth a listen
