Kurosawa is one of my favorite directors
If this doesn’t make you cry, you have more Kurosawa films to watch.
The undisputed master.
he was indeed a strapping man, and his movies were not bad either
Wonderful visions from a great director.
RAN is a masterpiece
The man is nothing short of a genius. He use of movement (and eventually color) in shots adds so much punch to what you’re viewing. But it never distracted from what he wanted you to focus on. It just enhanced it.
One of the world’s greatest directors.
Dare I ask anyone to list these movies? I’ve seen The Seven Samurai, Ran, and Yojimbo. I recognized Ikiru, but I’m not familiar with the rest.
The man has the soul of a great painter who found himself in another art form. I’m glad I was lucky enough to be alive for a portion of his career.
Alas, I have but one upvote to give…
As he got older and his eyesight failed he would paint [storyboards](https://i0.wp.com/thescriptblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/02/RAN.jpg) for the films cinematographers to follow.

He did a really good job when it came time to make movies.
Dreams is an utterly stunning piece of work. I still think about it to this day and I saw it 30 years ago.
Source?
I ain’t kurosawa but I make mad films
What song is this?
What’s the track name here?
