No child deserves to suffer …
Kids are always reading trash these days
Local TV intervewed him and he said that he tries to use books he finds in trash to learn english. And that people should not throw books away, but give them to kids that cant afford books.
The world is not fair. But in his environment, people are struggling to afford food to feed their kids. Lebanon is going through a massive economic crisis. No one will care for this kid. His life will probably end up in the same loop of poverty and despair that he is experiencing now. Collecting garbage from rich neighborhoods and trying to find enough food to survive.
I hope someone is courageous enough to actually take action and help this kid. I hope we get to see him again, in 10 years, healthy and successful. With a before and after picture thatmakes everyone on reddit tear up.
