He taught himself how to do all this in his spare time while working as a teacher.
If you watch his other short films you will not only find other excellent “nightmare political satire,” but thematic and symbolic nods to other famous moments in media – such as Evangelion, Metal Gear, Berserk’s “Eclipse” scene and the God Hand, and Squid Game’s “elites party.”
After only a relatively short time, Aamon is already a master of reproducing people’s CGI likenesses utilizing publicly available tools and his works are nightmares yet sublime and perfectly encapsulate a hyper-exaggerated version of each of those he satires.
Also, if any of Aamon’s works make you upset because you admire the people he satires, please let me know. 😈
