Still the most disturbing and terrifying moment in any video game.

What game is this?
I don’t know what I’m looking at, am I supposed to guess?
Obviously, you’ve never had a BSOD after you haven’t saved for 10 straight hours of gameplay.
Dead space 2 needle scene all the way
Link for those wondering: https://youtu.be/CJwyjWpP4XA
I remember being quite shocked by it at the time. It’s more a shame that the rest of the game is so damn boring. Would make a great Doom-like reboot to chronicle the whole Strogg war.
Before I even clicked this sub I was thinking it was the Quake 4 scene, glad I was right. Now imagine if the graphics were better.
Someone didn’t play Outlast: Whistleblower
The mirror room in silent hill 3
The loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong ass stairs in the museum in SH2.
I did not enjoy the torture section in gta 5.
Am I actually seeing some Q4 love?! Because I love this game! The way you change over the course of the story was so freaking cool and something I’d never seen before.
Too bad nobody played it..
Outlast whistleblower DLC, table saw
Besides Dead Space 2’s eyeball needle scene, I also found it hard to stomach that Wolfenstein head squeezer mech that mushed that lady’s face and she lived. Gruesome close/up
Haha, I did QA on that project…had to play through that scene so many times.
CoD BO3 robot PTSD…
Nah, old school resident evil with the opening door sequences.
I dont know man, that creepy ass baby monster in the Resident Evill Village dollhouse was pretty horrifying as well
The baby monster in RE:Village
Okay for real, why is it not a rule to post the title of the game in the post?
They guy in The Surge getting the endoskeleton without anesthesia…
Not terrifying in the traditional sense, but the big twist moment at the end of S.O.M.A left me feeling horribly terrified at the thought. That one lingered with me for a while.
Naaaaaah.
It’s the bit from outlast where that crazy guy uses body parts to recreate the scene of a baby being born and then proceeds to nearly cut you in half with a circular saw dick first if it wasnt for some other crazy guy who accidentally saves you.
I love these posts. The title is always something like “the most (INSERT HIGHLY SUBJECTIVE STATEMENT) video game ever!” No where does it say what video game the screenshot came from. I’ll even look in the comments and everyone is talking about the game but rarely does anyone ever say the title of the game. So I guess I won’t know what gave this is, but I guess that’s ok because I’m old and have kids now so I never have time to play anymore anyway…😭
I guess you weren’t 12 walking down a hallway when a zombie dog crashed through a window…shit got me
Remember when r/gaming sternly required the game title to be part of the post/title?
Pepperidge Farm remembers.
