• In addition to his writing and tv work, he fought in the Philippines in WW2 and was awarded a Purple Heart and a Bronze Star. As a result of his experiences he was a pretty strong anti-war activist.

  The photo is cool, but unfortunately Serling’s three-pack-a-day habit killed him at age 50.
