Definitely an underrated band in my eyes
I saw him a few years ago in a small venue in Niagara Falls. Incredible show.
His wife is my buddys cousin.
US Festival 1983
I saw them in Syracuse back in 1986, Yngwie Malmsteen opened for them… he omitted the solo that show, probably the tour.
The OTHER Canadian Trio that didn’t get the love they deserved.
Sounds like a shreds video honestly?
I remember that day. My buddies and I around the TV all day long. He is a fantastic guitar player and great singer too.
Totally thought he was wearing a tube top there for a bit. I never understood why triumph didn’t fully take off in America…
Great example of ‘his sound is in his hands’. These guys sounded really solid live in large part because those un-doctored tones just cut right through.
He should have played another guitar with his foot during the solo too.
People forget just how big Triumph was back then
He’s multi-talented. Great guitarist while also singing in the stratosphere as well and playing lead and rhythm.
No melody just ficking plucking
I was there that day! Triumph stole the show.
Ron Weasley – muggle rock god!
They were very underrated – should have been a much bigger band, IMO
That was at the “us festival”
I was at this US Festival back in 1983, I am in those sea of people that you see in the video, and they played a great set!
Seems like the US Festival really didn’t give a crap, eh?!?
Have a sibling that toured in the band in the 80’s, damn good times.
