Besides the language, do you find most games to have larger regional differences such as a complete change in game title, cover art etc.?
This one caught me by surprise with how different the presentation of the game is. The disc, booklet, and inside cover art are completely different from region 1 to region 3 for Afrika as an example.

Global and Middle East versions of the game are different. They have lots more regulations like, No LGBT and No Nudity
Censoring of violence in german versions became absurd about 20 years ago.
In Command & Conquer: Generals all units were robots. They changed the visuals, the commanders, the sounds. Even the suicide bomber turned into a bomb cart.
These were strange times.
