Salmon looks dry.
Overall I give it a, Mehh…
(In all seriousness this would be an amazing meal for school lunch.)
Looks amazing but that is so much food to eat in one sitting
Who trusts children with soup
Is the bell for when you need to call the butler?
I should add that the service is six dollars a day.
That’s the healthiest school lunch I have ever seen in my career
Do we have laws about school lunches in Quebec?
When i was in public high school in bumfuck nowhere Quebec, thats the same kind of food we we’re getting, for 5.15$ a day iirc.
We also had like 2 different main meal choices + leftover from the day before, multiple soups choices and either fruits or homemade bakery stuff for desserts. Add to that a “fast food area” where they sold sandwiches and stuff, i think the only real unhealthy thing we had were hot-dogs on tuesdays.
I honestly don’t know how my small-ish highschool in the middle of nowhere with not even 700 students was able to make us such diverse and amazing menus.
Rich kids
Better than the lunch I make at home sometimes
Is Gordon Ramsey the lunch lady?
Please Reddit let this trend die
I’ll take a half portion of that rice and fish. That’s a lot for lunch
I don’t eat that well at home.
Are you in secondary school or cégep? The lunches at my cégep didn’t look that good ahah
Why do you think politicians and wealthy send their kids to private school? If you have $25000.00 to spare by all means go to private school. It’s really worth dvery penny. Not just the food either.
What’s going on with that … salad???
For a guy who can only afford to eat salmon once every three years, I’d smash that dish and eat it to the last bite. Looks extremely delicious for my standards.
This looks like they’re going to come back from lunch and discuss poetry
$6 a day but $25k a year tuition lol
How do u eat soup with a bell?
Are we still doing this?
Key word “private” I have a feeling most of the school lunches that people post on here to bash US school lunches are from some kind of private or upper class school. US lunches might suck but atleast they suck across the US. Alot of other countries can barely provide enough schools let alone lunches.
I guess we’re having class warfare for lunch
is this a bodybuilding school
My sons school had hot lunch, two soups, sandwich bar and salad bar. I would help serve lunch as much as I could for the lunch with the other parents after we served. I even still use some of the recipes they shared.
Mm, rich people.
Is that tomato soup a bisque? It doesn’t look like a bisque. Take it back peasant!
What’s on the broccoli?
Is that tuna salad on your broccoli?
Tomato soup without a plain cheese sandwich? Monstrous.
I find this meal shallow and pedantic
Normal free stuff in Finland
Salmon AND tuna? Whyyyy
The bell looks like selwyn house. Go gryphons
Do you go to a very wealthy school or is this the normal meal over there?
Wow. Even your chairs have plaid uniforms. If you look closely, you can even see they think they’re better than public school chairs.
Kids in public school in Japan have similar nice things for lunch except… it’s incredible affordable. $2-$3 per day.
Kids even in kindergarten eat quite well. Kindergarten is also free, you just pay the $2-3 per day for the meal. Some schools in the suburbs and countryside also have their own farms and they will give out what they grow from time to time.
That bell looks delicious
This would be my entire days food. Jesus!
A bowl of Tabasco sauce, chickpeas, salmon, a weird salad and an entire bell. Nutritious.
Impossible photo. Food pics in Montreal without poutine are banned.
A hotel charged me $34 for that in Cleveland the other day
