Gorguts might not be everyone’s cup of tea, but they have undoubtedly one of the most consistent discographies in all of metal. Amazing band
This is my favorite heavy metal song. Heck, it’s from one of my favorite heavy metal albums. Hell, they’re probably my favorite canadian metal band.
Love this band. This song and stiff and cold are some of my favorite songs.
This is one of the most difficult to listen to technical albums ever, Luc is a genius and most people weren’t ready for this.
A bass tone to aspire to.
favorite song on the album. such a banger.
Amazing band! Lemay is far ahead of his time
Colored Sands has been on huge rotations lately
Got to see Gorguts with Carcass a few years back, supporting Colored Sands. They had Colin Marston from Behold… the Arctopus (another favorite band of mine) playing six string fretless bass, closed out with Obscura. Fucking phenomenal performance, and a brilliant record.
Gorguts! Their newest album is sick
Never ever in my life have I ever heard of technical/dissonant death metal and reading some of these comments I’m somewhat apprehensive but I’ll give it a go of course. Might be the best thing ever!
Edit: yeah, that’s not quite it for me
Album mostly written in ’93 but not release until 1998, love it.
I see Gorguts I upvote
