She’s not a die hard Acura girl. If she was, there would be a 14” piece of 1×1 in the trunk to wedge in the crease of the hood and the airbox.
I would offer some help. Ask what’s the issue and does she do that often… Proceed to get her number to maybe get friend zoned. 😅

Real question though, could they get injured doing this? Is the weight of the hood ok on a human bone? Any other reasons not to do this a part from strange and should have a strut to begin with?
I replaced those on mine for like $70!
