Hey there gamers and game devs. My name is Ryan Saunders, and I am a full-time indie game developer. My most recent commercial release on steam was called “Game Dev Masters”, and for a nobody I think it did quite well.

I still have update plans for GDM, but I have begun to work on my next game idea on the side.

It is currently being called “District 43” and there is a prototype build available on itch to gather early feedback.

In the shortest sense the game is a competitive turn based JRPG + City building game.

In a longer sense the game takes place in a world where all the evil creatures are trapped inside magical towers, and the most precious resource in the world is an essence dropped from these dangerous creatures currently called ICK. The world is broken into districts, which are like small cities and their main purpose is to climb these towers to collect ICK and are in direct competition with other districts.

You will need to build up your district, and manage your facilities. These facilities are used to empower your adventurers through training, class changes, memorizing skills, passives, and much more.

You can read more about the core concepts and lore on the itch page, but if this has piqued your interest at all, I would love for you to check out the small prototype and give your feedback.

As a solo dev, I need feedback as early as possible, and at every stage of development.

So, if you have 5 – 15 minutes, I would love for you to check it out.

You can find the itch build here: https://hulgarth.itch.io/d43

I would also love if you wanted to check out my latest commercial game on steam “Game Dev Masters” found here: https://store.steampowered.com/app/1478350/Game_Dev_Masters/

It will be at least a year or more before I even have a store page for my next game, but your feedback will help shape the direction and future of the game’s development. Thank you for your time, and I hope to hear from you.
