This was literally my childhood game, i played hundreds, maybe even a couple thousand hours of this game. “Wololo” and “I need a Monk!” Are my favorite lines

My boyfriend loves AoE2, we use to play all the time together, he’d totally be thrilled with something like this. It’s so personal and hilarious, makes for the best gift!

A small point that many people don’t know, but you might. If you ever look at the names of the tracks on the AoE soundtracks, you will find that they are…quite unexpected.
My wife would never do something like this for me. I was once upon a time a main healer for a ranked Alliance guild but she’s Horde DPS (not how we met), and I’ve always secretly suspected she thinks I’m “lol epic fail gtfo n00b” but is too good to me to say anything. Also, like most Horde, she hates Alliance.

Man, AoE2 really is on its way to immortalise itself. It’s also a source of one of the weirdest phrases you’ll ever hear, like “Camels may no longer be boats, but wolves are still buildings.” Or “What do you mean my elephant changed religions?”
