One of the Low ones
Maybe it’s the perspective but the horse is a unit
Belgium.
Looks like Mypos from here.
I would have thought Ireland
‘straya?
Nice find of your Dad, back in the day; as a young man!☘🇵🇷
The clogs give it away!
What a cool picture! We found old wooden clogs in my great-grandma’s attic after she passed away that she brought with her to the US as a young girl. They’re pretty neat to try on. I wish I knew more about her history
Narnia?
Grenada Mississippi last week. Where do I collect my prize for guessing right?
I know I might sound silly but what does “circa” stand for?
You can tell the old guy is in a lot pain from the horse farts.
Holland?
One of them!
If not for the flat cap I’d have said USA, Nebraska because he looks just like my grandpa on his buckboard. He wore a kind of conservative Western hat, almost cowboy but not quite. Nice photo, nice memory.
My guess was instantly Netherlands and then for some reason “Switzerland” as I was typing it in lol I think my mind somehow connected milk -> cheese -> Swiss lol
Lancaster , PA oh wait!
Russia
Judging by the clogs your grandfather is wearing, I would say Netherlands.
Denmark?
What a wonderful photo to have.
Netherlands?
I don’t really have a good basis. It has to be in europe. It doesnt look eastern european as eastern europe mostly looked like misery at the time.
The way this architecture laid out does not look like Germany or Britain. So I dunno, Netherlands would be my idea.
Looks like a wagon you could escape the Nazis with?
Chinese
Your grandfather was quite the horse!
The Netherlands!
i see crocks so it must be USA /s
Nederland!!!
Should I use your username in my guess?
based on my deduction skills, this is in Holland
The old country?
That horse looks Dutch!
If those are wooden shoes, Holland. If they are bare feet, the deep rural American South, where “cousin” is a pickup line.
Clydesdalandia
There’s always money in the banana stand.
Here is a photo of my grandfather from about the same time period (late 20’s, early 30’s)

I don’t know, but that horse is a warm blood
