If it ain’t broke, then don’t fix it.
Drier than saltine ashes.
Nostalgia. <3
Wonder what it looks like inside
Beautiful
I’ll always upvote Mario galaxy. The game is so beautiful.
A few of the Gamestops in my area are still selling used DS and Wii games.
It’s the same picture on the window because you can see the metal wall studs and the drywall. Whoever did the remodel just covered up the window, picture and all. Which means the picture will stay there until the next remodel.
i almost couldn’t tell
An Asian Grocery near me still has the window vinyl from when it was a Blockbuster Video.
This feel so post apocalyptic. This is kinda sick
When you have a Masterpiece, why put up a lesser picture?
Before it closed, permanently cause the pandemic, one of the gamestops near me still had the Halo 3 cover art plastered across its giant window too. Not sure how it still looked pristine even over a decade laterp
Mario has seen too much, now just wishing for the sweet release of death.
Surprising that they didnt replace it with the upcoming release of… oh wait video games suck now. Nvm.
As they should. Mario Galaxy slaps.
There’s a Target I shop occasionally that still has neon lighting on the wall with cursive writing for each department. The electronics section section has huge posters of the OG Xbox controller S and GBA AGS-001 systems hanging up by the neon! It feels like a time capsule from 2001.
Same with the one near me in south philly!
Damn looks like its walled in on the other side
Mamma Mia.
Looks worn but I don’t even consider that a bad thing
956! That picture out lived Quiznos.
Where is this?
Soul.
Idk how they’re paying rent tbh. There’s no reason to go anymore.
And they’ll change it just as soon as Mario ceases being popular.
Probably because the installed a plywood wall behind it LOL
Central Florida?
Mario is timeless, i see no problem
Metaphor
I’ve seen this posted before. Either a repost (I don’t care about reposts, I think they’re fine tbh), or you live in the same area or are the same person!
Man, must’ve been a pretty high quality print for the colors to not have completely changed over the years
That’s Mario, a popular video game character.
This looks to bloody nostalgic for me and I wanna say this was taken in DE
Well they keep making Mario games 🤷🏽♂️
Dude same picture. But slightly different. Haven’t changed it in at least a decade. Even was peeling off a couple years ago and they repaired it. https://imgur.com/a/XWGLi96
956 cuhhh
We have the same one in Tillman’s Corner, Al.
It is probably one of the pinnacles of gaming so I don’t blame them
To the moon
Well I’ll be damned; I never thought I’d see my home town on reddit.
So, it was there for halo 3 release day
They have no reason the change it.
Definitive proof that Mario galaxy is a perfect game
The GameStop nearest to where I live still has the same exact Mario thing on the window. It’s in much better condition than that though
Hey, man, if Nintendo can resell Mario Galaxy more than 15 years after its release date, so can your local gamestop.
Hodl
Galaxy was a super fun game.
