    JC can be a bit intimidating when he really lets loose, and it took me a while to acquire a taste for some of his songs. (Yeah, I’m basic.) But moments like this you can tell he’s a teacher at heart, who just wants to spread the love for music. If you were in that audience and never had done anything like this, I bet it had a lasting impact.

    (Though every Jacob Collier fan I know sings in choirs, so I reckon it might not be that many.)

    Nobody can deny that Jacob has chops, and absolute command over his musical expression. What I can say is that, in regards to my personal tastes, I find his music to be incredibly corny.

    Bobby McFerrin does something similar during his concerts. It’s wonderful to experience. Everyone is musical.
