I love his responses. He is absolutely correct, they do two different types of music.
what incredibly stupid questions
lol i love mick
Sebastian Vettel was the lead singer of The Rolling Stones for the first couple years.
Love the glances he gives the camera as he says “very diplomatic, you see”
Damn I’m not a smoker but he makes that cigarette look delicious.
I love this, he’s having fun with the camera and keeping chill. Truly cool.
John and Paul wrote one of the Stones first big songs
“Very diplomatic” hint hint nudge nudge wink wink.
Lol that interviewer was really trying, bht he wasn’t having any of it
Media always tryin to start drama
The Beatles and Stones had a great relationship back then. They would regularly keep each other in the loop on when they were releasing a new song, so that they didn’t knock each other out of the #1 spot
Keith was definitely the one in the background answering “yes”.
Lemmy from Motorhead made an interesting point about this comparison. Paraphrasing, but he pointed out that in fact the Beatles were a true hard working, hard partying working-class band that paid their dues the hard way while the Stones were all middle class art school grads putting on airs of being jaded gin-soaked rock stars.
The Greatest of All Time!
Jagger is and was at the time a fan of the Beatles. These questions are stupid.
Getting some Ron Weasley vibes from him and I don’t know why, but I love it.
Dude gives a fantastic response.
He’s not about to shit on The Beatles.
Both bands were fantastic in their own right and he’s not playing into this interviewer’s game.
Pretty sure this guy was just trying to wind up some drama which is really scummy.
Classy answers by Mick here. Love it.
Thx for posting this, OP. I’ve never seen this clip and it’s really is old school cool.
Aside from being so stunningly handsome & charming, Mick Jagger is one of the smartest guys in rock n roll.
Keith Richards in the BG “Yes.”
It’s always so cool to watch these videos and to feel like you’re in that time.
Gosh he’s so cute. I don’t even wanna turn on the sound to hear his voice, he’s cute just with those expressions!
funny enough, I never understood the attraction to him… until now.
With that accent i just keep waiting to hear him say “but these go to 11”
Jesus he was hot at that age.
It’s a stupid question. It’s like comparing roses to sunflowers. Both are flowers and both are pretty in their own unique and very different ways.
Journalism hasn’t changed much, trying to stir up shit where there is none
I love the way he’s cheesin into the camera. So cute.
The Stones and the Beatles were friends. That’s why Mick is deftly avoiding a straight answer.
Yeah. I get why everyone was in love with that dude.
