Yes, that’s the title I am going with. Watchu gonna du bout it?
This was an inch-perfect yorker. But what made this more special was the change of pace. The previous ball was bowled at 146 but this one was only 126. Not forgetting to mention that it kept swinging in with the dip.
I need to learn cricket someday
So bouncing the ball first isn’t required?
Cricket is very interesting but I don’t understand it. Can someone explain this in baseball terms
There is a lot of cricket on this sub lately
When I used to play cricket, Yorkers were my favourite, especially if you got it inch perfect. But if the batter knew how to read you, they’d smash you for a boundary by jumping the crease. Man I miss being able to play sport…
Do these guys make MLB money?
ahh yes the slow ball yorker. mmhmm. i don’t know what that means.
it’s almost comical how the terms used here are completely foreign to me and i want to keep it that way.
ahh yes i bowled a ball over hand that kept swinging in with the dip. it yorked!
Someone explain this in baseball terms?
Hate replays that start right at the action. Be good if we saw his run-in at least, need some build up
Yorkers are the most deadly but get it wrong and you get a big hit, needs some balls to deliver this after the last bowl.
Man, I know fuck all about cricket, but I sure enjoy seeing it. Such an interesting sport.
Nasty split change. Kevin Gausman would be jealous.
I’m enjoying all of these cricket highlights even though I have no idea what’s going on.
I genuinely know very little about Cricket. But I have a question….. While the pitcher is throwing, there is an opposing batter (in pink) walking 4 feet from him mid-pitch. Why is that a thing? I feel like that could be incredibly distracting for the pitcher.
Lachy, Lockie is such a great name. Had never even heard it until like 2 years ago and then I learned about like 10 different Lachlans.
Wait, this aint baseball
That was a gorgeous change up…I think
Man threw a circle change
Kiwis can fly.
Bro these cricket post titles crack me up lol I give no idea what’s going on
In baseball terms, did he catch him looking on the corner with a change-up?
As a baseball fan, that’s the kind of title that will win me over to cricket
Witnessed this moment live in the stadium today…and it was sublime! Especially due to the fact that the previous ball Butler had scooped it backwards for a six.
That title is wild lol
ill literally never understand this sport
Ball of the Tournament so far.
Glad to see a lot of Americans taking an interest into cricket.
Hope you guys are treated to a super over in the ipl!
So is that like the equivalent of striking out in American baseball? What happens if the pitcher misses those sticks?
Title is a r/brandnewsentence for me
