Indiana Jones, the Gremlins, and a Soviet tank would all be on it because Indiana Jones and Gremlins were the movies that prompted complaints about the violence in what were PG rated movies that led to considerations for revising the rating system, and Red Dawn was the first movie released with the PG-13 rating.
Epic
This poster would just make me as a child want to see Indiana Jones and Gremlins *more*.
I don’t understand. Is this against showing that content to 13 year old’s or is promoting the types of ratings? Either way is interesting to see
Do you know if prints are available?
i don’t know jack davis at all
this feels like a tribute to an era more than it is a criticism
In addition to his work for Mad Magazine, Jack Davis was famous for his many TV Guide Covers. So famous, that in **Once Upon A Time…in Hollywood** Quentin had his style replicated for these props (these were drawn by Tom Richmond, because Jack died in 2016):

Kinda ruined movies for 20 years.
Women’s bodies are as dangerous as war apparently. Yet still used in the centre of the poster to get you to look at it.
Just Google Jack Davis EC covers or Tales From the Crypt covers. Some cool stuff from the early 1950’s
Go Dawgs!!!
Indiana Jones – melting faces and heart pulling
Gremlins – putting little creature into blenders
Red Dawn – ?
The Woman in Red – nudity
Which multiverse is this?
