Gameboy Advance SP
My favourite mobile gaming device of all times. Ensure to play Metroid Fusion and Metroid Zero Mission! As well as Advance Wars and Advance wars 2.
This is honestly the pinnacle of mobile gaming. I might choose the GB Micro but this is objectively better.

Congrats, but you know there are paid mobile games without micro transactions. That being said a handheld controller is nicer to game on anyways.

I retrofitted my GBA Advance (non SP) with an IPS screen because my big dumb hands are too big for the SP model. It’s on my desk and I still play it and my OG PSP to this day
Great choice, and from what I can tell, you can still find plenty of good stuff on Ebay if you’re willing to take some small risks.

I mean, I have a Switch and I really can’t remember being bombarded with microtransactions. I can’t really recall that on any Nintendo platform. Granted, I’ve only gotten Nintendo systems for some first party games.
I think they might be alright in that respect. But it may also be why their games cost full price 8 years after release.
