I really liked this game, indeed.
it’s the best one in the serie.
Fuck the bloedzuigers tho.
Masterpiece
Played it for the first time last year. It was really hard to get engaged at first, but I ended up playing it a second time because I enjoyed it so much.
I still haven’t played 2 or 3 yet.
Masterpiece! You need some time to get used to it though. Sad that so many people missed out on it or just skipped it. Totally different to The Witcher 3 and comparing all three I like part 2 the least because it seems like a weird hybrid of the other two.
When I wanted to play 3 at first, I started with Witcher 1 because I wanted to enjoy the complete story.
I’m so glad now that I did that. It’s an amazing journey and the story is well worth your time and overcoming the janky old animations and graphics. Fortunately, you can update most of those graphics with mods.
I wish CD project would realize how ambitious cyberpunk was despite the lack of certain features , it was their first attempt at making a traditional RPG with a custom made character
I like the Witcher series but not a huge fan of it but I wish there was a Witcher game with intertwined rpg mechanics & sandbox elements similar to Fallout new vegas or Divinity original sin 2
I love The Witcher 1. It was my first action RPG.
The story is amazing! Characters and the atmosphere is great (beautiful music). Graphics are obviously dated, but growing up in the 90s I don’t mind that. The fighting system is weird when you look back at it, but still better than the incredibly unforgiving system in The Witcher 2.
I always recommend playing the games in order. Even if The Witcher is the objectively best, you get the most if you do a full run, transfering the game (it doesn’t affect gameplay that much, but I love the feeling of going with it).
I agree The Witcher 1 is my second favourite in the saga. The story is really that good!
Played the first two Witcher games in order starting last year (still on Witcher 3). Witcher 1 was a whole lot of fun but also a whole lot of frustration. It reminded me of KotOR and Mass Effect 1. The most memorable bit is probably that gosh-danged granny who won’t let you into Shani’s stupid house.
Truly an amazing one , even for WITCHER 1 EE
NPC had routine
Mod it necessarily only, then you can enjoy a lot more
But always back up
Soundtracks are excellent in need
That’s why when I play WITCHER 3
Always have W1, W2 and Even NETFLIX’ season 1 and 2 soundtracks all played with the playthrough
They really mocked Assassin’s Creed in Witcher 2 hahaha 😂
There’s right though
I’m done with all Assassin’s Creed games, (I’ve played everything ever there was in most famous franchises) still Witcher series and RDR2, Elder Scrolls
God tier
