I would prob say mine is Sleeping Dogs… I know it’s not technically last generation (other than remaster), but it’s still one of the most underrated games imo
Infamous games fr are underrated/underappreciated. And Prototype too.
Loved it! Came with my Xbox and I assumed I’d never really play it. But it wowed me immediately.
Sunset Overdrive was so much fun. Definitely underrated.
Vanquish
I remember seeing all the hype for this in magazines so many many years ago and then it just vanished.
Prey. Had a good storyline and interesting game mechanics. Highly recommend and one of my favourites.
I want a sequel to Quantum Break, and make it in the same universe as Control and Alan Wake
I consider myself to be not the biggest fan of open world…but then I saw the first replies (sleeping dogs, infamous) and also I liked sunset overdrive.
What is it about this games that are so different? I think they have strong narratives, and the map isn’t just a giant to-do-list, it’s more of a setting.
I played this game fully and I agree with your statement because they left enough room for a another game because of the ending so I really hope the make a another
I loved this game! The only problem I had with it was that there was no option to start a new game. I ended up deleting the save data on my Xbox so I could play through it again haha.
Not the most recent generation (other than the remaster) but I loved gravity rush. It’s a shame it launched on the Vita, and a bigger shame Sony is gutting Japan Studio.
I really want another.

My most underrated game is really pushing the boundary for “our generation”,, but bro, Superliminal was actually incredible. It had so much potential and it was great, but if they solidified a good story— it could be a classic.

I would love a Sunset Overdrive 2, but Insomniac is owned by Sony, and the Sunset Overdrive IP is owned by Xbox I believe.

I 100% Sunset Overdrive. The game was everything a game should be. Wish we would get more games like this.
Game & Wario
This game was actually funny. Art style, customization, unique gameplay all made it worth your time. Shame it never got more love
