Horizon forbidden west in my opinion is the top game graphically.
Yeah I’ve never played RDR2, but this is an incredible pic for certain
Ghost of Tsushima doesn’t have the raw graphics of RDR2, but it makes up for that with great direction and style.
Cyberpunk RTX does it for me

For me Cyberpunk 2077 with RT easily beats anything out there right now. Especially during the night when its raining and all the neon lights reflecting in the puddles.
Elden Ring, Witcher 3 and RDR2 are the follow ups. There’s also the RT only Metro Exodus version that I haven’t played but from what I saw looks really nice.

Went to play one day just to walk around. Not a few minutes in, an owl swoops down and snags a rabbit, all in beautiful detail and lighting.

I did enjoy sitting on top of cliffs watching the thunderstorms roll in.
And they did it with so many different environments.
It’s the most impressive game I’ve ever played. The story. Arthur’s arc. The honesty of the characters. It’s just brilliant.
Maybe the missions get a little repetitive, but the overall pacing is so good and the world so interesting to explore, that it really doesn’t matter.
Easily one of the top ten games of all time.

Agreed. Finally got around to playing it. Highly recommended 1440p with all settings on ultra if capable for pc. The game was way ahead of its time in 2018
If you love the American landscape, then RDR2 is the best visual game you’ll ever play.
RDR2 is a 10/10 game.
In terms of graphics ? Definitely. The superb next gen graphics and the ridiculous attention to detail that I’ve never seen in any other game really make you fall in love with that Wild West world.
Microsoft flight simulator 2020 is pretty beautiful
Doom Eternal has some awesome environments too, but it’s more cool than pretty, so RDR2 wins prettiness
Rdr2 feels like a ‘premium’ game. From graphics to gameplay everything is super polished.
I was living at my parents house for a little bit waiting to move into my new apartment and my mom walks in to ask if I want dinner, but before she even gets a word out I say look and she literally had to take a moment to figure out it was a game. All she said was, “Oh wow” and stood there for a minute while I was riding my horse around. Very cool moment

It’s Little Creek River north of Big Valley. You’re standing at the western entrance to the area, not far from the “L” in “Little” on the map.

I would argue Cyberpunk has better graphics overall. But in terms of scale and vegetation RDR2 really looks better.
Horizon Forbidden West, Cyberpunk 2077 and God of War Ragnarok are all much better looking graphically.
RDR2 still looks amazing though.
I don’t know the witcher 3 after the recent updates looks pretty damn good.

It depends what you’re looking for. RDR2 is no doubt a beautiful game. Cyberpunk 2077, FS2020, and DCS are also very beautiful in their own, but very different, ways.
