    Something this missed: Ramsay wept because he lost two Michelin Stars, sure… but it was at a restaurant that he *didn’t even own* anymore. He started the restaurant in 2006, was awarded the two stars in 2008, and then – amid some money issues – sold the restaurant to the hotel it was in, The London, which in turn licensed his name. He wasn’t involved in the running of the restaurant for years before the Michelin Guide removed the restaurant’s stars.

    I imagine it was emotional not only because his name was attached to it, but because he built it up only to see mismanagement ruin it.
