The idea of losing limbs or even your head while fighting and had to pick it up or grow it back after a short time is just too good

I mean, concept on paper seems cool, but the game just never deliver for me.
Probably a good reason no one heard of it.
I don’t remember much about it besides the hard mode being extremely frustrating, and online being really rough. So, I’m not really surprised there isn’t much fan fare.
You can check other games made by sudo51 if you want weird shit concept.
Back in the days, I remember some prominent game reviewer discussing how a flawed 6/10 that tried but failed to do something new was so much better than the generic games that were a solid but boring 7 or 8/10. This game was brought up as an example of that interesting 6/10, where they tried something interesting but messed up the execution.
The game was like a big budget Konami title that had pretty high production values, and it just had some pretty fundamental issues with how tedious it got when your body keeps falling apart and you have to roll your head back to your body. While interesting, this killed the pacing and got old pretty quick. I think not too many other devs tried this since it is pretty difficult to design it in a way where it is fun and not tedious.
I heard the concept of picking up your limbs in the middle of a battlefield was incredibly annoying
It was not good but i like that it tried something new, something different.
mechwarrior, biofreaks
Woulda been a cool thing to throw in a deadpool game. Maybe not picking up limbs but actively waiting for them to grow back while you fight
