Now THIS is the kind of thing I wanna see on the news tab
one of my favorite cartoons !
Great. The theme song is back in my head…
One of the most underrated holiday specials. Grandma Arbuckle saving the day is awesome. And the talking scale bit is hilarious.
>”Okay, smartypants, what’s my name?”
>
>”Judging by your weight… you are Orson Welles. May I have your autograph, please?”
Def a childhood staple of mine.
Hey it’s that orange kid from the reading posters
Is this when the grandma deep fries the turkey, and they’re chanting ‘Deep fat fry! Deep fat fry!’?
who else is thankful for the orange cat?
My wife and I watched this just last week. We do this one and the Christmas one every year. It’s a classic, so fun and silly, plus you get Lou Rawls killing the intro. Though “It’s a quiet celebration” could be cut and replaced and I wouldn’t be mad.
I remember reading that rectangle book so many times. Why was it so satisfying?
I guess it’s one of the rare times Garfield realized he went too far, and was too mean to Jon. For a short while, all was right in the Lasagna universe.
Anyone else realize how big of a horn dog John is after watching this?
The grandma subverted my expectations of what a grandma could be
I’m not sure if I ever saw this as a child, but I watched it on Peacock recently and really enjoyed it. Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!
I watch this yearly. Seems like it should be older than 1989. Damn I’m old.
