Nice!
And when you’re totally lost and don’t understand WTF is going on, you can watch [this](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PQ1pEktaMlg) that will explain it.
Great! Thanks for sharing.
Didn’t expect to see Winona Ryder around 30:00
I want to like this, but the english subtitles baked into an english dub is annoying enough. The fact that that the subtitles don’t match the dialog is just obnoxious.
If you like this, I would recommend checking out Time Masters (1982), which is also directed by René Laloux.
My favorite film of all time. If you’ve never seen it before, watch it on psychedelics for the first time. Preferably mushrooms.
This movie is so depressing
Love this movie
This movie also has a great soundtrack! Link to the Spotify playlist here: https://open.spotify.com/album/4BF1mMXkDo1NcJCgEBXKEk?si=EB3Qu178Q_-pMOqYDSlmrA
The version on HBO right now is much much more fun to watch
I got to see this at NiteHawk in Brooklyn back when it was still a cool theater and did things like this. They played the subtitles version with French dialogue someone linked before but removed the music and had a live band score it in the theater. One of my favorite birthdays
Who remembers Night Flight?
Mac Miller sampled this movie for his song, Insomniak!
