Oculus, as much as we would like to hate Meta/Facebook, has been a blessing to push development of VR related stuffs and making it more accessible to the public.
Microsoft isn’t just a gaming company, and they only have 1 console in the top ten if we’re considering the list of best selling consoles of all time.

What about Nintendo having some of the worse service and okay consoles in exchange for some of the most time consuming fun games only available there
Nintendo could literally not sell anything for many years, and still have a LOT of money left over
Meanwhile nintendo making the best portable gaming system
