NO TARGET, NO DISNEY, NO BUD LIGHT! WE VOTE WITH OUR DOLLAR!
I think that’s awesome! It’s harmless! So much awful stuff I the world and this is what upsets you?
Who is going to let their kids play with their $3500 VR headset to play with Mickey Mouse? I honestly can’t figure out who this is made for. I might be willing to play around with it if it’s around the price of a current gen console, but who is going to pay 6 times that price for a VR headset?
I know, I know, don’t count out Apple when they introduce new tech. But I don’t know if even die-hard Apple people are ready to drop that much for some new tech that hasn’t been able to generate much buzz when anyone else tried it for much, much lower costs.
I’ll also be curious to see what battery life is like and what it can do without being tethered to a different device to generate what you see.
Iger has repeatedly said that Disney should look back at the heart of the company (animations, family content, Marvel and Star Wars) and that that should be the focus of Disney+. Apple won’t buy Disney, because they never want to deal with parks, cruises and noisy kids, but I could see Apple teaming up with Disney for adult content (FX originals on TV+; ESPN channels on AppleTV; deal on Hulu).
