Ya know, I love hearing how some celebrity or sports star comes out as being gay or LGTBANFLWNBAMLBNHLRSPN and everyone is falling all over themselves claiming how brave that person is.

THEY AIN’T SHIT! THIS young man is BRAVE. He took a stand in a time and place that could have gotten him lynched! Worse yet, it was in a time and place where whoever might have lynched him, would have gotten away with it!

Several such incidents took place in Arlington, VA, during the time that Rockwell and his group had a large house there. The house itself was near a major road and decorated with flags and signage. Seven years after this photo, Rockwell was gunned down while doing his laundry, a short distance away.

Even ten or twenty years later, people went by, to see the area as a curiosity. Part of the question we wondered: How could this be going on here? Just a short time after Rockwell was shot, Martin Luther King, Jr. was assassinated,

Rockwell would be proud to see the democrat party today! We now have push for segregated dorms and graduations.

So the white people in this photo, we’re they advocating for a safe space? Free of anything the perceived as offensive?
That sounds like some snowflake shit.

According to Wikipedia there was a standoff between the cemetery and some 50 followers over their wearing of Nazi insignia at Rockwell’s funeral following his assassination. During which time the hearse carrying his body was hit by a train…
    Fucking. Perfect.

Dion Diamond actually is old school cool. He’s still alive and retired now—back in the 60s he was a very courageous and clever civil rights activist. He actually was kind of a pioneer in trolling dumb racists.

There’s another picture of him in 1960 with pro-segregation protesters picketing the desegregation of a Maryland amusement park. He’s right next to them with a smile on his face and a picket sign mocking them, while they just look confused.

Just a reminder that many of these people might still be alive. The racists of the 60s are judges, sheriffs, CEOs, and governors. People look at pictures in black and white and think it was so long ago.

This is the kind of history lesson that needs to be taught. It’s what white Nationalists call CRT. They don’t ever want their children and grandchildren to know that their own fathers and grandparents were racist AF.
