Usually films with this type of premise end up being bad, but this one surprisingly looks good. The action looks sick and very obviously done by 87Eleven, which makes me hopeful for this because 87 has a good track record so far.
I’m just glad to see Jamie Foxx continuing to get a spotlight at Netflix. Looks like a decent time
I’m gonna guess I’ve seen it all before.
I mean this could go both ways, it could be some good alternative fare from Netflix or just so-so filler that would be forgotten in 3 days
“This is going to be like something you’ve never seen before.”
*30 seconds later*
“We’re making something that you’ve never seen before.”
If you have to keep saying it…
Excited to see Scott Adkins in this hopefully this can be the start for him to work on more higher profile movies.
They say we haven’t seen this before, but in all honesty, Blade did a lot of this before. With that being said, that’s not a bad thing at all, and I wouldn’t be shocked if this actually ends up being better than the Blade reboot since this will be allowed to go completely R rated, and it has the freedom of not having to fall in line with a dozen or more other movies and shows.
