The fact she got married so young to her agent is making a lot more sense now.
I know very little about her but this was throwing me a bit, I was thinking her parents must have had her well into their 40s or even older, but no. There’s not as big an age gap between her and parents and her and other siblings as I was thinking from this snap. These older photos really show how much older people looked at different life stages than we do today. And styled themselves too. I have similar photos of my own family.

Big families were common in rural Quebec until the 60s. Priests and shit would literally encourage it.
I feel for her, having to work from a young age to help support a huge family, then being (allegedly) groomed by an older man, then losing said husband and her brother from cancer within the same few days. She’s rich and successful but she hasn’t had it easy.
